Welcome to the Shelby Amateur Radio Club — serving Cleveland County and the surrounding region since 1957.
We’re a community of licensed amateur radio operators dedicated to innovation, public service, emergency communications, and lifelong learning. From maintaining six local repeaters to sponsoring the Cleveland County ARES team and hosting one of the largest hamfests in the South, our mission is to promote amateur radio and support our community. Whether you’re newly licensed, returning to the hobby, or simply curious, we invite you to join us, get involved, and make a difference through amateur radio.
